Rainy Days and Thursdays

Since it was pouring as I was driving to work this morning, I figured it was going to be a long day. The garden dept on a stormy day can get boring, and time drags.  Once I found something to do, my day felt more productive.  I think everyone needs to have goals, and we need to have things to do that optimize our strong points. It’s the same with our service for God. Let’s pray today that we as a church will discover where God wants to use us. “Father, there are lots of things to be done in a church, just like any family. There are the mundane, and the things that only one person is qualified to do. Help us to find our gifts and to use them. I pray that every one of us will be used to change lives. Help us to be open to your will.”
