No Goods Provided…

Those of you who attend Suncrest have received your quarterly contribution statement by now. I had to laugh when I saw the disclaimer at the bottom: “No goods or services were provided to the donor in exchange for these contributions.” I understand why the IRS requires this, but I still think it’s funny. If only they knew what “good”  Suncrest has provided me and my family! And the “services,” which have nothing to do with 8:30 on Sunday morning! My church has provided far more than I could ever pay for, so I’m thankful it’s not expected. Today I pray that we as a church will continue to be used by God in many ways: through Celebrate Recovery, Morning Grace, KidMo, Men’s Fraternity, Student Ministry, community groups, our worship services, and others. “God, we pray that you will use us to change lives, and that we will be open to serve where you want us to serve.”
